Support from parliaments en politicians

Since the start of the prosecution on 20 July 1999, governments and NGOs around the world have spoken out against the human rights violations that Falun Gong practitioners in China face every day.

The UN Special Reporter on Torture, Manfred Nowak, has documented many cases of torture of Falun Dafa practitioners during his term of office (2004 – 2010) and repeatedly appealed to the Chinese authorities to end the persecution.

On 12 December 2013, the European Parliament adopted a resolution against organ harvesting to allow its Member States to publicly condemn the organ transplant abuse in China.

Taiwan: Pingtung county council passes resolution supporting lawsuits against Jiang Zemin

(Minghui.org) The Pingtung County Council unanimously passed a resolution on January 22nd in support of the lawsuits filed by Falun Gong practitioners against former communist head Jiang Zemin for his role in the devastating 16-year persecution. The resolution also condemns the Chinese regime's state-sanctioned organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience. READ MORE
